Step inside the Honolulu House after dark and experience a moment that feels suspended in time. Beginning September 24 through 26, and continuing on October 10 and October 17, you can explore the museum by candlelight. As you enter each room, you will notice that every electric light is off, so lanterns and your guide’s stories provide the only illumination.

Next, you will move through the house as your guide shares real history. This is not a ghost tour. Instead, you will hear documented accounts that become even more vivid in the quiet halls and flickering candlelight. The atmosphere may feel uncanny, yet every detail comes from verified sources.

After you arrive, you can choose between two evening tours. One begins at 7 pm and the other begins at 8 pm. Admission is $20  per person, and each group includes no more than 25 guests to keep the experience intimate.

Before entering, you must show your receipt for admission. You may purchase tickets at the door, but online reservations take precedent. Attendance follows a first come, first served format.
